Forum: Secret Pals and Gift Exchanges

Secret Pals is a program for the exchange of themed gift/coupon boxes. Anyone may "Host" and organize a Secret Pal or Gift Exchange.

Please be aware that all trades must be conducted in the trading forums, and all correspondence must be made via private message or email. Any trading messages left as a visitor message will be subject to deletion without further notification.

The rules for each round of secret pals are up to the Host of the exchange. Any rules set forth by the host are to be upheld by any member that joins the secret pal or gift exchange.

Items that are permitted to be included in Secret Pals or Gift exchanges (Subject to terms set forth by your host):

• Actuals
• Concealed Cash (CC)
• Coupons
• Expired coupons
• Free samples
• Gift cards
• Money Orders
• Paypal handling fee (PPHF)
• Postage stamps
• Printable coupons
• Promotional forms
• Rain checks
• Rebate Forms
• Try-Me-Free forms
• UPCs

Items that are not permitted to be included in Secret Pals or Gift Exchanges:

• Cash Register Tapes (CRTs)
• Complete deals (UPC, CRT, and Form...all items needed for a rebate)
• Printable CVS coupons
• Kmart flyers, home mailers or any print media advertising double coupons.

We ask that you do not post any portion of the UPC Number of the coupon in your trading posts. A moderator WILL edit this out, and a warning and /or infraction will be issued. You MAY however post if a coupon is DND 5, DND 9, or store only coupon coded (ie starts with a 0)

To host a secret pal exchange you must:

• • Be a member for 6 months
• Have 100% iTrader feedback Score
• Have successfully completed 20 Trades with no negative itrader feedback

You also MUST share the list and addresses of all participants for the exchange with your Secret Pal Moderators.

Secret Pals and Gift Exchanges are a higher outlay of money for each person that joins and you should not join if you cannot afford to spend the money for the gifts and/or shipping. If an emergency situation comes up where you are not able to send your package it is YOUR responsibility to notify your host of any delays.




To participate in a secret pal exchange you must:

• • Be a member for 30 days
• Have 95% iTrader feedback Score
• Have successfully completed 5 Trades with no negative iTrader feedback

Mailing instructions:

The sender is to pm the host with the delivery confirmation number of the package by the designated mail date.

If the number is not received by that date, the sender will receive a reminder pm from one of the secret pal mods within 24 hours of the send date.

The sender, has 48 hours to respond to this pm. No response could lead to a full blocking from the trading forums at the Secret Pal mod’s discretion. Trading privileges will be reinstated once the delivery confirmation number is received.

If a package remains unmailed by 14 days after the agreed upon mail date, bad trader proceedings will go into effect.


Failure to mail your package to your pal or agreed upon recipient is subject to:

1. Be listed on the Bad Trader List
2. Receive negative iTrader Feedback
3. Be banned from Secret Pal Exchanges

Please read all secret pal or gift exchange threads carefully as this is where you will find the rules and conditions of joining. By sending your info to the host you are agreeing to these rules as well as the rules set forth by your host.

Here at HCW we strive to offer neat, clean forums. All posts in the Secret Pals and Gift Exchanges forum will be purged from the system by a Super moderator, the head moderator of the trading forums or the forum moderator after the thread has been inactive for two months.
